📄 Letter to Alice Winslow, May 31, 1920
A letter to Alice Winslow from a family friend after the death of Alice's mother Rachel Perham Clement (1838-1920).
606 W 113 St N.Y.
May 31My dear Allie:
When the "Post" came yesterday I was so shocked to read of your mother's death.
I never, never shall forget her. She was certainly the kindest neighbor we could have.
I can just see her now coming up the path for a nice little visit and her bringing some nice dainty to eat.
We had many good times together & I can't think of Cambridge without her.
How lonely you all unreadable + you especially unreadable family. I am just so sorry for you all. unreadable no one who can take a mother's place.
I should be glad to hear from you. Remember me to unreadable sympathy.
Most sincerely
Molly Bunreadable
