Marvin F. Clement (1834-1866)

U.S. Civil War Draft Registration Records, 1863-1865 show Marvin Clement, resident of Hebron, NY, a married farmer, on a list of people "subject to military duty" as of June 1863. It doesn't say that he served. Maybe he was exempted because his brother James Harvey Clement (1836-1862) had already served and been killed in battle?
📄 Sketch of the Clement Family says that Marvin was "killed by kick of a horse", so although his date roughly coincides with the Civil War, it doesn't seem to have been related.
The Bancroft Public Library's cemetery resources lists Marvin's cause of death as "Fract. Ribs, kick by horse". It also has a note reading "In Rec. Vault Dec. 19" that I don't understand.
