Robbie Tone Sherman (1869-1937)
Found in a box labeled "Torrence and Tone Pictures" was a photo of a woman labeled Robbie Tone Sherman. A copy was loose, along with one of Ernest A. Sherman. Both were dated 1898.
Georgana Robertine Wheaton Tone Sherman, her very full name, seems to have been the stepdaughter of Isaac Tone (1839-1916). Isaac and his brother Jehiel went to Iowa and started the Tone's Spice company. Isaac married Betsey O. Graves (1846-1940), and Robertine was Betsey's daughter from a previous marriage. She marrried Ernest Sherman.
