📄 Letter, Daniel Harrington to Preston Harrington, Dec 5, 1902
A letter addressed to Preston Meeker Harrington Sr (1871-1942) dated Dec 5, 1902. It's been stored in an envelope sent from Cambridge to Preston at 59 Maiden Lane, NYC (in lower Manahattan) but the envelope is dated May 8 1903, so it's from a different letter.

Dear Pres
I arrived home all safe & sound 6:18 arrived in Troy 4:20 a very good train to come on. Ma I guess was glad to see me come in the door. We are having a big show storm this morning. Regular blizzard. How does Chesty get along. Poor thing have such a hard time with her unreadable. I wish you were near us so we could keep her a spell. It would help Carrie so much.
Love to Carrie
Kiss to ChestyYour father
Notes:
- "Chesty" seems to be Ruth Best Harrington (1901-1959), at the time the only child of Preston Meeker Harrington Sr (1871-1942) and Caroline Elsie Best (1872-1954). Strange nickname, though.
